Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of augmented reality (AR) technology on the academic achievement of Saudi Arabian students with unique educational needs. The study used the experimental approach. For this study, we employed augmented reality (AR) technology to improve the educational experience of 150 youngsters with various special needs. To assess the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) in the classroom, we observed the level of engagement, satisfaction, and academic achievement. This study can offer vital insights for legislators and educators, and it is quite likely that it will result in a significant revolution in the approach to higher education in Saudi Arabia. The results demonstrated a significant increase in educational achievement following the consultation, demonstrating that AR interventions are effective in enhancing learning outcomes. Furthermore, we observed that distinct handicap categories produced unique results, highlighting the need for tailored augmented reality therapies. The results demonstrate the capacity of augmented reality technology in Saudi Arabian special education to provide inclusive classroom environments for children from varied backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of customized educational programs.
